Materials:

- Cool cakes in the pans for 10 minutes before turning out onto wire racks to cool completely.
- Once cakes are completely cool, use a cat-shaped cookie cutter to cut out 8 cat shapes from the remaining cake batter.
- Place cat shapes on top of the cooled cakes.
- Decorate with sprinkles and a ribbon.
Tips:
- For extra height, use a cake mix that includes baking powder or baking soda.
- To make the cake more realistic, add a few drops of black or brown food coloring to the batter.
- Serve with a glass of milk or a scoop of whipped cream.
